This one is from 2000,
inspired by the Gore/Bush fiasco. This is pretty
tongue-in-cheek, but not really. It is sort of a satire on a corrupted soul,
which tends to be how I see Republicans in general. The one in this song is
one of those Tom Wolfe masters of the universe, sort of a super achiever who
has lost touch with ethical balance and the day-to-day experiences of less
fortunate people. This is another old
Tascam 4-track tape recording, which has all kinds of problems. My friend
James Warner is playing Kurzweil synth on this track. This is back in
development to come up with a cleaner track and possibly update some of the
lyrical references. For now: Thanks for
